Alternative/Complementary/Holistic Health

I became interested in folk medicine and “natural” healing approaches even before I went to Medical School. Many of the therapies, in fact all, we offer I have tried myself. I have gone to numerous classes, seminars training and educational meetings regarding the medical validity and results from these treatments. They are not panaceas, they do not always work, and they are not for everyone! However, they can be powerful and I believe they have a definite place in health care. Here is what we provide:

1.    Chelation Therapy; this is a very powerful intravenous solution which includes minerals, vitamins and EDTA. The word Chelate means “ to bind”. This is a powerful treatment to help eliminate toxic heavy metals from the body such as arsenic, lead, aluminum, cadmium, etc. Research done in the 1950s showed benefits to blood pressure, cancer and circulation. The meta analyses which have been done have shown some remarkable potential for improving health. WE suggest you read the many books about this before we agree to treat you.
2.    EAV- Dr. Voll, a German physician wrote over 7 textbooks on electroaccupunture. He literally mapped out many acupuncture points and was able to access the points with a radiofrequency instrument for measurement taking. With the power of Synchrodyne technology, we often combine homeopathic, allopathic and other remedies integrated with the "“intelligence "“of EAV to direct electromagnetic balancing in the body.
3.    Homeopathy- we have found many people respond well to standard homeopathic medications.
4.    Nutritional therapy: iv Vitamin C can sometimes be used for a powerful treatment especially when someone has been sick for a long time, like after getting mononucleosis or having the flu too long.
5.    Referrals; there are many other potentially good treatments available. So we can arrange to refer to other alternative doctors around the US through our affiliation network.

Nutrition
In 1980 I decided to learn more about using supplements for maintenance and improving wellness. I learned so much from other people in other disciplines that I was shocked to see how common it was for people to have basic deficiencies in their diets.

I knew that history taught us that this could lead to unbelievable health issues. For example, in Japan in the 1920s there were virtual epidemics of Beri-Beri a vitamin B deficiency created by the polishing of rice ( the creation of white rice).

Dr. Pottenger showed us the unbelievable effects upon offspring and future generations with his work ( “Pottenger’s Cats”)

We have used nutritional therapy in the office to assist patients with a more optimum health experience- We continue this to this day and I have written several monographs and utilize pamphlets and booklets for patient education.

Philosophy

•    We are interested in an aggressive rehabilitation program for injuries sustained in routine life situations as well as sports and recreation in order to restore normal function and body healing.
•    We address diseased tissue as well, such as arterial disease and degenerative disease in an aggressive fashion, often using alternative medical approaches.
•    We attempt to use a broad scope of the healing arts in our everyday practice to attempt an optimal treatment of common medical problems.
